Bartlet Green witnessed a will in Lunenburg Co in 1759. He witnessed a deed in Bedford Co in 1774. He also served in Lord Dunmore's War in 1774, was on the dellinquent tax list in Fincastle Co in 1773. Last found in Montgomery Co 1790 kin the same area he was in when it was Fincastle, the area that later became Grayson Co. Have nothing on his family, but believe he may have been a father-in-law to Charles Sexton who named a son Bartlet. Bartlet Sexton was born abt 1775. Hope this helps

He paid Mr. William Street $200 and a suit to substitute for him in the army. He received an honorable discharge and credit for 6 years of service. He applied for a pension Jul 6, 1826 after his house and everything in it burned. William b. Notes for Pryor Sexton: There is no proof that Pryor is with this family, Willis did not find him on the VA Lunenburg Co Court Order Bk 9 12 May 1763. He does theorize that " As youngest, might he not have been left with mother if she was still alive? He was in the New River area at least 1793 until death in 1834." As he was still nursing, this is very probable.
