for the county of Shelby in the State of Indiana before the Honorable William H.
Sleeth Judge of the Probate Court of Shelby County for the February term in the
year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty five.

Executor of the last will and testament of Isaac Sexton dec'd
Be it remembered that on the eighth day of August in
the year eighteen hundred and forty the last will and and testament of Isaac
Sexton dec'd was filed in the office of the Clerk of the Probate Court of Shelby
County in the words and figures following To Wit: I, Isaac Sexson of Shelby
County Indiana do make my last will and testament. First I direct that all my
just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of the first money collected. I will
and bequeath all my Real Estate and all my personal (estate) property after my
debts are discharged to my beloved wife Hannah to have her life time for her
maintainence. At her decease, I direct that so much of the estate as shall
remain be divided equally between my three orphan Grand children viz. Louisa,
Mary & Granville Ackins and the two orphan boys that I have been raising
namely Isaac and James Sexson. I further direct that the land shall not be sold
during her life time unless it be needfull for her support. And I hereby make
and ordain my Wife Hannah and my son Enoch executors of this my last will and
testament. In witness whereof I Isaac Sexson the testaator have hereunto set my
hand and seal this the 20th day of May in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred
